The guild was created by Redvulture on May 7th, 2007 (only because he started it before the rest of us could, *grin*) with several others that splintered from their previous guild in World of Warcraft.

The concept for Dof Faction (referred to as DF) is to be primarily a raiding guild in World of Warcraft, but also extend into other online games as well. It was also desired to not have the absolute rules and restrictions that some of the more hardcore raiding guilds enforce, like mandatory raids, alt character restrictions, etc. It was also desired that it be an adult guild with no minors in guild membership. This combination of ideas is what Dog Faction is today.

If you're looking for us in WoW, we're primarily an Alliance guild on the US server Garona.

1. Why the name Dog Faction?
A: It was an inside joke between many of the originating members that splintered off the previous guild. What! You think we'll tell you?!?!

2. Does Dog Faction have an age restriction?
A: Yes, 18 or older.

3. Do I have to raid?
A: No.

4. Can I have a main/alt in another guild?
A: Yes, but if you signed up to raid with us, then bail and play with the other guild, there will be issues.

5. Do you censor guild chat?
A: Yes, but only if it is offending a large number of people. You will usually see and hear chat of adult topics, sex toy eduction, and other silly in interesting topics, and so on.
